Intensive Spoken Thai and Culture

A PROCESS TO SPEAK THAI WITH CONFIDENCE.

YOU CAN SPEAK THAI LIKE A NATIVE AS POSSIBLE.

Hello, my name is...

Paulene  Piyawat

Hello everyone!

My name is Paulene, I’m Thai, and I live in Thailand.

In the past, I spent eight years teaching English to Thai students, and I really enjoyed my time as an English teacher. What I loved the most was seeing my students change their attitude toward the English language. Many started studying with the idea that it was an impossible task, but they all ended up realizing it wasn’t and really seemed to enjoy their English classes with me.

As time went by, I started to feel I needed a new challenge and decided to train to become a Thai teacher. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, as my students would come from cultures I do not understand as well as mine, but I like a challenge!

I am a very organized and thorough teacher. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language and I will be there to support you in your learning, so you can achieve your goals. Learning a language requires time and dedication, and I will be by your side to guide you, and I will be there to cheer you on when you lose your motivation (it happens to the best of us!)

See you in my class!

Paulene P.

The fact that her English is so good is definitely helpful. She doesn't only teach me the language but also a lot about Thai culture.
She's very open-minded and I think she's a natural teacher.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
WHEN YOU WANT TO LEARN THAI

Here's the truth:

Learning Thai for adults is not easy. There are a million moving parts and pieces, linguistic knowledge, time constraints, and limiting beliefs that prevent you from achieving Thai, and most importantly from actually speaking Thai.

What if you could...

Have a step-by-step, easy-to-understand lesson to walk you through everything you need to start learning Thai…by taking a 1:1 online teacher? So, you can start learning a new language which is suitable for you.

You're in the right moment because you know ...

  • You want to speak Thai but you don't know how to start.

  • You learn Thai by yourself but you can't achieve what you expect.

  • You're struggling with 5 tones (middle tone, high tone, falling tone, high tone and rising tone)

  • You want to speak more naturally.

So you can finally

  • Learn Thai effectively since you know the style you like and the road map is tailored to suit your level.

  • Encourage to speak Thai and enjoy practising with various approaches such as communicative approach, direct approach, and grammar-translation approach.

  • Speak Thai with confidence because you understand the tones and the ways to pronounce.

  • Read Thai effectively since there are a lot of exceptions. A form and pronunciation are not the same (sometimes) according to the rules, exceptions of loan words, etc.,

  • Understand Thai culture and understand how Thai people perceive the world

This is the relationship of teachers, learners and materials which helps learners in learning the language effectively

  Teachers

Understand students' preferences and can apply the methodology to suit learners' needs.

  Learners

Know own learning styles, set motivation and have self-discipline.

  Materials

Can support students' learning; for example, simplified textbooks for second language learners, electronic flashcards, and authentic materials should be selected by the teacher.

Therefore, when the three components come together, students can achieve the target language more effectively. Let me help you!

Because I love creating Thai worksheets!
